How to order customized handles with your handles supplier in China?

1. Needs Communication

The client provides the target cabinet dimensions, detailed product dimensions, applicable functional requirements, style preference, budget range, and estimated annual purchase quantity. The supplier assesses feasibility based on these requirements.

2.Solution Design & Quoting

The handle manufacturer provides 2-3 preliminary structural sketches, material suggestions, and surface treatment solutions. A quote will be provided based on the following factors:

Mold development costs (usually a one-time charge, refundable or amortized after a certain purchase volume)

Material costs

Surface treatment process costs

Packaging costs

3.Mold Development

The supplier has its own mold workshop, and the mold-making cycle is typically 15-30 days. The precision of the molds used for custom handles directly affects product quality.

4.Prototyping & Confirmation

We will produce 1-3 sample sets for the customer to test the installation effect, feel, and appearance. After confirmation, the samples will be sealed and used as the acceptance standard for the bulk order. Samples can be shipped, with shipping costs usually borne by the customer.

5.Small-Batch Trial Production

We will initially produce 1000-2000 pcs for customer installation and verification. Once there are no issues, we will proceed with mass production. Customers can designate an agent to inspect the mass production quality at the factory.

6.Mass Production & Delivery

Production is arranged according to order quantity, and the delivery time is generally 25-40 days. The supplier supports trade terms such as EXW/FOB/CNF/CIF/DDU/DDP.

7.After-Sales Service

If there are any quality issues (such as surface treatment problems or damage), the customer can provide photographic, video evidence, and the supplier will provide after-sales service after verification.
